Hypnotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis
IT ALL BEGINS WITH THE MIND
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is state of highly focused concentration during which peripheral awareness is diminished and suggestibility is heightened. This state of highly focused attention is also referred to as a trance. Everyone experiences hypnosis in various forms throughout the day. One hypnotic experience with which most people are familiar is watching television. During a highly engaging movie, viewers can become so immersed in the experience that, for a time, they become completely unaware of their surroundings. The emotions that the viewers experience are real even though they "know" that it is only a movie. Clinical Hypnosis uses therapeutic protocols to recreate the trance state in a clinical setting.

What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a healing modality that employs hypnosis in order to achieve a therapeutic goal.
Hypnosis has a wide range of therapeutic applications and clinicians have been using it successfully for:

Stress and Anxiety Relief

Sleep Disturbances

Performance

Fears and Phobias

Emotional Trauma

Habit Change

Weight Management

Grief Recovery

Emotional Clearing

Why should I consider Hypnotherapy when there are so many treatment modalities out there?
One key advantage of hypnotherapy is the speed with which a person can begin to see results. Many issues can be resolved permanently within a few sessions.
